Journal of Library & Information Studies (ISSN 1606-7509) is an open access international journal. It is published twice a year by the Department of Library & Information Science of the National Taiwan University.

 

To make the journal appear in the field of international academic with an international figure, the design concept is based on delivering the combination of library, information science, and digital trends. The main idea is making the fore-edge of book combined with the visual image of data. So, the key vision started from the isometric perspective and also created the association of building structure. The cover design would like to express that the field of library & information science is not only related to information, but also technology and management.

《圖書資訊學刊》為國立臺灣大學圖書資訊學系出版之研究型期刊，長期列為科技部人文社會科學研究中心圖資學門之一級期刊，並收錄於國際知名索引與摘要資料庫。為使本刊能夠以更國際化之形象呈現在國際學術領域，主視覺的設計構想即建立於傳達圖書資訊研究領域與數位時代的結合是相輔相成的關係，因此，封面設計以書口的書頁與信息數據的視覺形象相互結合，而大量訊息則以不同顏色、長短的訊息條相互交錯為代表，並以等距立體視角的空間感，製造圖書館建築的聯想，藉此表達圖資領域研究與訊息、科技、管理是息息相關的。
